History

In 1969, Francisco Alves Vistas founded the company on behalf of individual trade selling articles for marble and granite industry.
He was the cornerstone for the success story of this company.
Later, he began as an importer of diamond tools, abrasives and adhesives.
During these 40 years, the company developed, increasing his turnover, adding to their activity, representations of the most prestigious Italian machinery, such as PEDRINI S.P.A. and SABA, this representations came to bring added value for this sector, in Portugal.
Always desiring to grow even more in this market, Francisco Alves Vistas and some partners, created GALDIAM, a company with de proposal of manufacturing diamond tools for marble and granite's industries.

The continuity of this company is assured until the present day, by Vistas's family (there are three generations working together).
In addition to its head office in Morelena, Sintra, the company Francisco Alves Vistas, Lda, has 2 wharehouses: for the North zone, in Braga and, for the South zone, in Vila Viçosa, with sellers covering the all country.
